1st Special Operations Wing Public Affairs

6/10/2011 - HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- The 8th Special Operations Squadron  welcomed a new commander May 26. Here is a little more information about him.

Name/Rank: Lt. Col. Matt Glover

Organization: 8th Special Operation Squadron

Hometown: Austin, Texas.

Off-duty time is for: Family, working out, and catching up around the house.

Previous Assignments:
-8th SOS Operations Officer, Hurlburt Field
-CV-22 Student, Kirtland Air Force Base
-Air Command and Staff College student, Maxwell Air Force Base

Organizational Goals:

Grow and Improve the CV-22 Force.

Work Philosophy:
Take life by the yard and it is bound to be hard, but take it by the inch and it is bound to be a cinch.
