1/11/2011 - HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- The 14th Weapons Squadron will welcome a new commander Jan. 14. Here is a little more information about him.
Name/Rank: Lt. Col. David Hanson
Organization: 14th Weapons Squadron
Hometown: Auburn, Ala.
Off-duty time is for: Family, friends, fitness, faith and fun.
Previous Assignments:
-Operations Officer, 14th WPS and 19th Special Operations Squadron
-Chief of Programming, Headquarters Air Force Special Operations Command
-Student, School of Advanced Air and Space Studies
Organizational Goals:
1.) Teach graduate-level instructor courses that provide the world's most advanced training in weapons and tactics employment to Air Force officers.
2.) Develop leadership competencies of the next generation of Air Force leaders.
3.) Ensure that our graduates are capable of making a tactical, operational or strategic impact, and they are able to be the right person in the right place and at the right time.
